Klasická torrija, sladký nálev bez teinu, nás zahalí do atmosféry pohody a připomene nám klasický španělský dezert tvořený krajícem chleba namočeným v mléce (někdy ochuceném skořicí a citronovou kůrou) nebo ve víně. Nakonec se posype cukrem a skořicí nebo medem. Ideální jako dezert nebo svačina, případně jako alternativa k tradičním sladkostem. Ječný slad je bohatý na vlákninu a pomáhá regulovat trávení.
