The ritual of letting the cookie rest over my mug until the tea softens the underside is now a daily thing, and the toffee layer stays perfectly chewy through the whole soak. It’s got that old-school sweetness that actually pairs with a strong brew instead of vanishing under it.
The toffee flavor is rich without being cloying, and the crunch holds up perfectly when I dunk it in my afternoon tea. The way it softens just slightly on the rim of the cup while staying crisp in the middle is exactly what I want from a classic sweet. I've already gone through half the pack in two
The toffee flavor is exactly what I hoped for, rich and genuinely sweet without feeling artificial. I tried it the way the description suggests, resting it over my tea cup, and the slight softening actually made the texture even better.
