The cast iron really holds the heat, my tea stayed warm for almost an hour after I poured the first cup. The traditional textured finish looks great sitting out on the table too.

I've had this 0,8L tetsubin on my stove daily for a month and the water genuinely tastes cleaner, no metallic edge at all. The casting feels solid in hand, and it looks like a proper heirloom piece sitting on the shelf.
