The brass feels sturdy and has a nice weight to it, not flimsy at all. I love that it blocks out all light, so my oolong has kept its fresh, grassy scent for weeks now. A solid little tin that does exactly what it promises.
The brass is heavier and more solid than I expected—it feels like it’ll last for years. My tea’s been sitting in it for two weeks now, and the aroma is still as fresh as the day I opened the bag. Exactly what I needed to keep the light out.
The brass feels substantial, not flimsy, and it’s clearly doing its job keeping my loose leaf tea out of the light. I just wish the lid opened a bit more smoothly, but for the price it’s a solid little tin that should last.
